Apple has released iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS 15.4 with Apple Intelligence upgrades and much more
The third developer beta of iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 can be downloaded from the Settings app, but only if you are a registered developer. All you have to do is link your Apple ID to your Developer Account, and an OTA update will be available in the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. If your accounts are already synced, all you have to do is head over to General > Software Update > Beta Updates and install the iOS 18.4 or iPadOS 18.4 beta by following the on-screen instructions. Take note that the process is the same for the iPhone and iPad, so do not be alarmed.
As for what is new, iOS 18.4 will be a major update for the iPhone and iPad, bringing several Apple Intelligence enhancements to the table, including Priority Notifications, a new Sketch Style in Image Playground, and much more. Additional changes include Ambient Music, an Apple News+ Food section for Apple News+ subscribers, and support for French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, along with localized English for Singapore and India. There is also a new Vision Pro app that allows owners of the headset to download content and manage the headset’s settings and controls.
Apart from iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, Apple has also released the third developer beta of macOS 15.4 Sequoia with necessary upgrades. The update can be installed on your compatible Mac through the Software Update section of System Settings. Again, make sure that your Apple ID is connected to your Developer Account so that you can receive the update over the air.
macOS 15.4 will bring Mail Categorization to the Mail app, which will organize the types of emails so users can easily access them and have more control if any action is required. The update will also bring most of the common features from iOS 18.4, including the Apple News+ section and enhancements to Image Playground.
Apple has also released the third developer beta of visionOS 2.4, tvOS 18.4, and watchOS 11.4 with a handful of changes, which you can also check out on your respective devices.
