Samsung’s flexible and foldable screens at MWC 2025
During MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Samsung Display reveals a series of flexible and foldable screens that stretch, turn into a briefcase, and unveil gaming devices. The company showcases their collection of OLED displays with multiple concept uses of their flexible and foldable screens. The exhibition at MWC 2025 debuts the Flexible Cabinbag. It’s an 18.1-inch foldable OLED screen that turns into a compact briefcase, so users can bring it anywhere. Here, the design team embeds the screen, which is equivalent to the size of two standard tablets, right into the case.
There’s also the Polygon Foldable, which features a 3.38-inch diamond-shaped OLED display. This non-rectangular form poses as the exterior display of clamshell-style foldable phones. In one of the booth halls, Samsung Display hangs its stretchable screen. It showcases an image of a football that moves as the screen balloons horizontally. Next for Samsung Display’s series of flexible and foldable screens is the Flex Gaming. It is a tucakble concept gaming console featuring a 7.2-inch foldable OLED. When unfolded, it expands into a proper gaming device.

Multi-display concept that plays a single piece of content
Aside from the flexible and foldable screens, Samsung Display also presents a ‘multi-screen’ concept monitor. The idea is to view a single piece of content that’s accessible across multiple screens. In this way, users can start watching a show on their smartphone while watching a TV show and even browsing products online on a laptop. At the MWC 2025 booth, the company also brings a 31.5-inch monitor, a 16-inch laptop, and a 6.7-inch smartphone. This series demonstrates how all these devices can uniformly display color consistency across different screens.
Alongside the flexible and foldable screens, Samsung Display also showcases the OLED Tile. It’s a full-screen technology with an ultra-thin bezel, creating the appearance of a bezel-less design. At the event, the tile projects Spain’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral stained glass. The display consists of ten 6.8-inch bezel-less panels and two 31.5-inch monitors, and when illuminated, all the panels create the appearance of a single display. Presently, the series of Samsung Display’s flexible and foldable screens are concept projects.
